The technological process of expanded clay of shale ore usually consists of five stages. Preparation of raw shale, drying, heating, firing and cooling. After crushing a jaw crusher, raw shale is fed to a screening sieve to sort particle size - selected particle diameter of three to five millimeters. The material is then fed into a reheating furnace. After heating, the material is immediately fed into the furnace at a predetermined firing temperature. After firing, the material is cooled and becomes expanded clay.
Production line of expanded clay shale ore consists mainly of storage, exhaust fan, dust collecting chamber, coal dust injection system, and the control cabinet. The line includes an option for adjustment of process parameters feeder and the operating speed of the rotary kiln to ensure maximum performance while maintaining the high quality of the product.
